Technology Config Doc

Adding and managing the Tech Doc

The technology and configuration document is an excel file that resides on Sharepoint and contains data for each project for different areas. For example, GTM and GA ID's for individual projects, Runway URL,s, Domains and more. As each project is created we need to input all areas of configuration in different tabs for management.

Locating the Tech Doc:

  • Choose the appropriate TAB at the base or the burger menu to open the area you need to add or update information. 

Adding GTM Codes

Add Project GTM Code to Config Doc

  • Copy the container code and place it into the configuration document (opens in a new window) under the GTM ID Tab

Locate & Login

There are 4 locations in all. 

  1. Corporate staging site
  2. Corporate production site
  3. Projects staging sites
  4. Project production sites

Staging sites are for testing solutions and are used in training. Productions sites are live so please ensure you check your environment before doing any work.
