Creating Soft CTAs using HubDB
To be best optimised for mobile, you can use the HubDB table to create the soft CTAs for your project's nurture emails.
To do this, you will need to create a new HubDB and Design Tools module. To do this, use the instructions below.
The new CTAs will display like this:
Step 1: Creating New HubDB
Navigate to Content > HubDB and find the PROJECT_Soft CTA_Directory. Clone for your project.
Rename to have your 4-letter project code at the start.
For example, ARIE_Soft CTA_Directory
You will see, there are 6 columns - below are details for the purpose of each of these.

Add a new line for each of the Soft CTAs you want for your project. Changing text, background colours etc.
Step 2: Creating CTAs
For the Soft CTAs, you will need to create an embedded button for each CTA you wish to display.
In order to create a CTA - navigate to Marketing > CTAs.
You have the option to clone one of the existing CTA buttons and change the styling (e.g. colour and font) or create your own from scratch.
If you want to create it from scratch, select the 'Embedded Buton' options.
Navigate between the 'Content' and 'Styles' tab to amend the CTA to your project brand and preferences.
Publish CTA.
CTA Naming Example: ARIE_Soft-CTA_Button-Pink
Add CTA Code to HubDB:
Once published, you can copy the 12-digit code from the URL and add it to the HubDB table.
Step 3: Crediting Soft CTA Module
The final step before you can start adding these CTAs to email is to clone the Module in the design manager and link it with the HubDB table you just created.
To do this, navigate to Content > Design Manager and search for the PROJECT_Soft cta hubdb directory module.
Clone and rename for your project.
Link the existing HubDB to this new module you created. On the RHS navigation bar - under 'Fields' - edit the CTA (HubDB Row)
Under Content Options > HubDB Table, change the linked table to be the new one you just created.
Publish changes in the top RHS.
Step 4: Add Module to Emails
You can now start adding this module to emails and selecting which CTA you desire.
In the email - on the LHS Navigation bar - click more - and then find the module you just created.
You can then change between the different CTA options depending on what is required for the project.
Please note:
Not all email partners allow for HTML Coding when being sent, so please add a background colour to the module you are sending also directly in the email.
