External Site Tracking: REA Natives & Audience Extension Lead Ads
This article provides details on incorporating auto-response emails into your Realestate.com.au Native Lead Ads and Facebook Audience Extension Lead Ads processes, as well as linking these assets to a HubSpot Campaign. This helps in tracking and attributing contacts or sales that originate from an external site, such as REA or Facebook in this case.
REA Tracking Set Up
Setting Up Specfic Auto Response Emails
Step 1
Clone your existing [PROJECT CODE]_Auto Response to Enquiry Form email and rename to [PROJECT CODE]_REA Native Auto Response or [PROJECT CODE]_REA Aud Ext Auto Response.
Under Email Type select 'Automated' and then click 'Clone'.


Note: If you are running both Native and Audience Extension lead ads, you will need to set up an auto-response email for each. The content of these emails can remain the same.
Step 2
Under Settings, ensure you assign your new auto-response email to your projects appropriate HubSpot campaign.
Native Workflow Adjustments
Note: If you are already running Native Lead Ads, this workflow should already be in place.
Any issues here, please log a ticket with the support team.
Step 3
Navigate to your [PROJECT CODE]_Martech folder and find the [PROJECT CODE]_REA-Native-Ad_Set-Project-ID workflow.
Link to template workflow for example/cloning.
Scroll down until you find the ‘Set marketing contact status’ action, below this click the ‘+’ button.
Select ‘Communication’ and ‘Send email’
Search for the Native auto response email you just created and then click ‘Save’.
Step 4
Assign this workflow to your appropriate project HubSpot campaign (the same one you assigned the auto response email/s to).
Click File > Organise > Add campaign label
Find your campaign and click ‘Save’.
Audience Extension Workflow Adjustments
Step 5
Note: If you are already running Audience Extension Facebook Lead Ads, this workflow should already be in place. Any issues here, please log a ticket with the support team.
Navigate to your [PROJECT CODE]_Martech folder and find the [PROJECT CODE]_REA_FB-Extension-Lead-Form workflow

Scroll down until you find the ‘Set marketing contact status’ action, below this click the ‘+’ button.
Select ‘Communication’ and ‘Send email’
Search for the Aud Ext auto response email you just created and then click ‘Save’.
Step 6
Assign this workflow to the relevant HubSpot campaign (the same one you assigned the auto response emails to).
Click File > Organise > Add campaign label
Find your campaign and click ‘Save’.
